Worship at UUESVA
At the Unitarian Universalists of the Eastern Shore, worship is a time to gather, reflect, listen, question, and connect.
We are a small, growing congregation rooted here on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Our Sunday gatherings are welcoming and relaxed, shaped by openness, curiosity, music, shared reflection, and the belief that many paths can lead us toward truth and meaning.
Whether you come with deep faith, thoughtful doubt, spiritual questions, grief, hope, or simply a desire for connection, you are welcome here.
Join Us on Sundays
We gather on Sundays at 10:30 AM for a reflective service that may include readings, music, shared silence, conversation, and community participation.
Our services are thoughtful but not formal, spiritual but not rigid. You do not need to believe a certain way, dress a certain way, or have all the answers. Come as you are.
Music with Route 13
Music is an important part of our worship life. Our house band, Route 13, helps bring warmth, spirit, and energy to our gatherings through live music that reflects the heart of our community.
Their music helps us celebrate, reflect, and feel connected — to one another, to the Eastern Shore, and to the larger web of life we are all part of.
Who We Are
We are people of many beliefs and backgrounds, united by shared values: compassion, justice, inclusion, freedom of conscience, and care for one another and the wider world.
As a Unitarian Universalist congregation, we honor each person’s search for truth and meaning while building a spiritual home grounded in love, welcome, and responsibility to our community.
A Living, Local Community
As a new and growing congregation, we are still becoming. We celebrate seasonal gatherings, support one another in practical ways, and show up with open hearts.
You’ll find a circle small enough to know you and wide enough to grow with you.
